Immigrants boast about how easy it is to sneak into the UK through the Channel Tunnel

A group of Syrians detailed how they board Le Shuttle wagons by following cars driving on to the trains – claiming that guards were too busy checking the closed wagons to notice them.

More than 20 Syrians – waiting to be taken to Croydon and processed by – claimed they then hid under vehicles for the 35-minute journey.

One immigrant called Khaled said it was “too dangerous to go under the trains so at night we followed cars as they drove onto the train”.
